As they had reserved in advance, we seated them at the "Datchi" (the chef's counter). This is the best place to enjoy a tuna omakase, as you receive each piece directly from the chef.
The counter is often called the "flower of Japanese dining" because it offers the freshest, most immediate experience.
With no barriers between the chef and the guest, you can watch the delicate process of preparing each piece of premium tuna. The couple watched the craftsmanship with curiosity and kept exclaiming, "It's so delicious!" throughout their meal.
