While I'd have to check the exact records, I remember him visiting at least 10 times.
He often visits with his athletic friends or on dates. It’s always a pleasure to see his friendly, youthful energy.

Today was slightly different.
He brought his mother along this time.
For a restaurant owner, seeing a long-time regular bring their parents is incredibly meaningful.

His mother looked very pleased throughout the meal, and it was wonderful to see the natural, warm bond between mother and son.
Moments like these make me realize why I love this business.

Since we see him so often, the way I greet Mr. Han-gyeol Kim has changed.
"Hey Han-gyeol, welcome back!"
This feels much more natural now.
Saying "Welcome, valued customer" actually feels a bit distant at this point.
Running a restaurant for a long time transforms relationships.
First, they are customers.
Then, they become regulars.
And as time passes, they become people we are simply happy to see.
