Bangi-dong Tuna Dinner: Friends Gathering & Thai Beer Snacks
Three young friends recently visited Goldtuna Bangi-dong.
They were close friends who often meet for a drink, and on this particular day, they mentioned they were craving high-quality tuna.
They told us they had been recommended our restaurant by an acquaintance long ago and had been keeping an eye on Goldtuna through Instagram for a while.
Polite Guests and the Power of a Sincere "Thank You"
All three guests were incredibly polite and well-mannered.
Every time a new dish from our tuna omakase was served, they greeted us with a warm "Thank you." Even when making small requests, their tone was exceptionally respectful.
It turned out they were all entrepreneurs. It seemed their natural way of treating people with respect and greeting others warmly was likely a part of their daily business habits.
A word of thanks costs nothing.
However, that single phrase has the power to lift the staff's spirits and transform the entire atmosphere of the table.
A Special Gift: A Thai Beer Snack Developed by Our Guest
In the middle of their meal, one of the guests brought out a red package.
He explained that it was a product developed by his own company and is currently being sold in Thailand.
“It tastes great as a beer snack. Please share this with your staff after you close for the day.”
He then handed over several bags as a gift.
I was so grateful for his thoughtfulness in wanting to share something with our hard-working staff that I told him:
"I'll post this on my social media account to help promote it!"
I wasn't sure how much impact a single post of mine would have, but they were very happy to hear it nonetheless.
So, we captured a photo together with the product to commemorate the moment.
SUNSU MUEK GROOB Extra Mara Konjac Snack
Due to the red squid-shaped packaging, it looks like a seafood snack, but the contents are actually konjac snacks coated in spicy mara seasoning.
It combines the chewy, snappy texture of konjac with the addictive spicy kick of mara. Rather than a crunchy snack like a typical cracker, it's more like a side dish to be enjoyed bit by bit with beer.
After hearing how he developed it personally and is selling it in Thailand, even the packaging looked different to me. It must have taken a significant amount of time and trial and error to bring a product to life and market it internationally.
If you ever come across SUNSU MUEK GROOB in Thailand, and you enjoy spicy flavors and the unique texture of konjac, I highly recommend giving it a try.
Hoping for Long-Term Success
Running a restaurant sometimes leads to days where we receive gifts from our guests. I still remember someone who brought in wild pine mushrooms they had gathered themselves.
While a restaurant is a place where we serve food to guests, there are moments when guests feed and look after the staff. Receiving such kindness is one of the true joys of operating a business.
Thank you for visiting with your friends, enjoying the food, and taking care of our staff.
We hope SUNSU MUEK GROOB becomes a beloved product in Thailand for a long time to come.
