Best Tuna in Seoul: Gold Tuna Jamsil Restaurant Review
A family traveling all the way from Austria recently visited the Goldtuna Bangi-dong (Jamsil) branch in Seoul.
Austria is a beautiful country known for the Alps, the musical city of Vienna, and the setting of the legendary film "The Sound of Music." For many, it's a place that evokes images of snow-capped mountains, green meadows, and yodeling.
This Austrian couple and their young son chose to have a special dinner at Bangi-dong while exploring Seoul on their Korean vacation.
Planning a Seoul Trip: Finding Goldtuna on YouTube
The family shared that they spent a lot of time researching information about Seoul to prepare for their journey.
During their search, the YouTube algorithm recommended a video featuring Goldtuna and "Somac Imo." Although they found it by chance, they ended up watching several of our videos and decided that they had to visit us once they arrived in Korea.
They told us this story during their meal using a translation app.
It is truly amazing how a single video reached a family in Austria and became a definitive stop on their travel itinerary through Seoul.
A Global Dining Experience: The Austrian Family at Goldtuna
In the photo, the couple and their young son are seen enjoying their meal together.
Premium tuna was served on our signature cypress wood (Hinoki) trays alongside various courses. It was the day they finally met Goldtuna and Somac Imo in person, after seeing them only through a screen.
A family trip from Europe to Korea involves many choices and schedules. We are deeply grateful that they chose Goldtuna Bangi-dong for one of their precious meals in Seoul.
We wish the three of them a healthy and joyful journey for the remainder of their time in Korea!
Goldtuna is available at both our Bangi-dong and Sinsa-dong branches in Seoul.
