Gold Tuna Jamsil: The Power of Authentic Reviews and Organic Virality
On July 29, 2026, a unique scene unfolded at Goldtuna Bangi-dong. Two different content creation teams were filming simultaneously—one at the sushi counter (Bar seat) and another at Table 3.
One team consisted of a Korean influencer close to actor Lee Dae-hye, while the other was a YouTuber based in Korea creating content for a Chinese platform.
Interestingly, both teams visited as regular customers without any prior invitation or sponsorship. The Korean influencer team enjoyed our Royal Special, while the YouTuber team opted for the premium Omakase (Chef's Choice) Special.
For a moment, Goldtuna felt less like a restaurant and more like a vibrant content production studio.
Authentic Content Without Paid Advertising
The Korean influencer requested a tutorial from our famous "Somaek-imo" (the "Somaek Auntie," famous for her entertaining cocktail mixing) on how to make a "Bokbuchino"—a signature energetic cocktail.
Somaek-imo explained the hand positioning and the mixing technique step-by-step. The entire process of the customer following along was captured on camera.
There was no scripted program. The natural interaction between the staff and the customer became the content itself.
Global Creators Becoming Friends at Goldtuna
While filming their respective videos, the two teams eventually struck up a conversation.
They shared stories about working in Korea and exchanged tips on video production. After finishing their meals, they even took a commemorative photo with Somaek-imo.
Initially strangers, they became friends through a chance encounter at Goldtuna.
The Power of Organic Viral Marketing
We didn't pay for advertising. We didn't provide free food or discounts. Yet, these customers voluntarily filmed, interviewed, and created high-quality content for their channels.
This is the ideal scenario every business owner dreams of.
However, consistency is more important than a single viral moment. The reason a customer picks up their camera must ultimately stem from the quality of the food and the sincerity of the service. Without maintaining our standard of excellence, spontaneous content cannot be sustained.
A restaurant should not just "stage" scenes for content; its everyday operations should inherently *be* the content.
We would like to thank both teams for visiting Goldtuna and capturing our story through their unique perspectives.

※ Goldtuna serves you at Bangi and Sinsa branches.
Goldtuna Bangi is where dynamic scenes are born. It’s a hub for lively content like Somaek-imo’s Jumakase, customer participation, international visits, and on-site interviews. This recent case of two different YouTubers meeting and collaborating on the spot perfectly captures the energetic spirit of the Bangi branch.
Our Sinsa branch, on the other hand, focuses on deeper relationships and conversation. Here, the content revolves around personal stories—family birthdays, anniversaries, dates, and business dinners. If Bangi records the "movement" of people, Sinsa records the "narrative" of connections.
While both locations share the same premium ingredients and culinary philosophy, they offer different styles of content. Bangi is about the "here and now," while Sinsa is about the "story."
