Healing Tuna Dinner at Gold Tuna Bangi-dong
While her husband and son headed to Jamsil Baseball Stadium to cheer for their team, one of our guests decided to spend her evening with a friend at Goldtuna Bangi-dong.
Instead of the whole family going to the stadium, the men enjoyed the baseball game while the ladies chose to indulge in a premium tuna course and catch up over deep conversation.

Beating the Seoul Summer Heat with Fresh Tuna
It was the day right after the monsoon season ended.
As soon as the rain stopped, the scorching "bulbyeot-deo-wi" (blistering heat) began.
The streets and buildings of Jamsil and Bangi-dong were radiating intense heat trapped during the day. On such days, sitting in front of a hot grill for Korean BBQ can feel quite burdensome.
Tuna, however, is served without any heat sources at the table.
Centering around chilled, fresh tuna sashimi, various dishes are served sequentially. This allows for a very comfortable and refreshing meal, even in the middle of a hot Seoul summer.
From my perspective as a restaurant owner, summer is actually a fantastic season to enjoy the cool, clean flavors of tuna.

The Premium VIP Course: A Diverse Culinary Journey
The two guests ordered our signature VIP Course.
Starting with premium tuna, the meal progressed through tuna sushi, grilled dishes, fried specialties, Chinese-inspired cuisine, and a final satisfying meal.
It is not a course that only features tuna; it is a well-rounded omakase (chef's choice) experience that incorporates elements of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese culinary styles.
There is no need to grill food yourself or worry about managing the table. As the dishes arrived, the two friends were able to fully focus on their long-overdue conversation.
Time with family is important, but occasionally, sitting across from a good friend for a relaxed meal is just as essential.

Meeting the Famous 'Somaek-imo' at Goldtuna
They mentioned that Goldtuna wasn't their first choice initially. However, while debating where to have dinner, they decided they had to see the famous "Somaek-imo" (the legendary Somaek Auntie) in person.
That day, her signature "Jumakase" (liquor performance) 3-set was a hit. The moment the performance started, the energy at the table completely changed.
The two friends filmed the show with big smiles and were very satisfied with the attentive service from our staff. After the meal, they even left a lovely comment saying it was the "best time" of their day.

It was a night where everyone was doing what they loved most.
