Five close friends recently visited Goldtuna for a special gathering.
Their life stages were all different: one was pregnant, another was breastfeeding, one was preparing for a baby, one was celebrating a birthday, and another was enjoying the single life.
Despite their different dietary needs and ability to drink alcohol, they all sat together and ordered our Royal Special tuna omakase (chef's choice course).

The pregnant friend enjoyed our various side dishes instead of raw tuna and alcohol.
The breastfeeding friend focused on the delicious tuna while skipping the drinks.
The friend preparing for a baby made sure to eat a nourishing meal. Along with them, one celebrated her birthday, and another enjoyed her single life.
As friends enter phases of marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting, their lifestyles naturally begin to diverge.
Someone is waiting for a child, someone is raising one, and another continues her own journey. Yet, when they gather at Goldtuna, they immediately revert to the same friends they’ve always been.

Capturing Memories of a Five-Friend Reunion
This photo captures the five friends enjoying their meal at Goldtuna Bangi Branch.
In the center of the table sits our Hinoki (cypress wood) tray filled with premium tuna cuts like otoro (fatty belly) and akami (red meat). You can see them gesturing warmly toward the camera.
Just looking at the photo, it's clear the conversation was lively and full of joy.

Is Good Conversation the Best Medicine?
I see something similar with my own wife.
She’ll meet a friend and talk for hours, then come home and talk on the phone for another hour. The next day, she says there’s still more to say and wants to meet again.
As a 'T' type (logical/analytical personality), I sometimes find it hard to fathom how much there is to talk about!
But watching these five friends, I realized their "chit-chat" isn't about reaching a conclusion.
It was about sharing and listening to stories of pregnancy, parenting, husbands, kids, work, and daily life. They laugh while talking and rediscover their own stories while listening.
I’m sure there were still stories left untold even after the meal ended.

This location is popular for family dinners, group meetings, corporate dinners, and international visitors in Jamsil and Bangi-dong. It features a bright, energetic atmosphere led by our famous manager, Somaek Auntie.
The Sinsa-dong branch has been serving guests near Garosu-gil for 6 years.
It is primarily visited by guests looking to focus on food and intimate conversation, such as for dates, blind dates, anniversaries, or business entertainment. Lettering services for anniversaries are available upon advance reservation.
At both Bangi and Sinsa branches, we select only large Bluefin tuna and prepare them according to our strict principles: complete thawing, thick slicing, and moisture removal.
We offer a 15-course omakase that includes tuna sashimi, sushi, grilled dishes, tempura, Chinese-inspired dishes, and a final meal.
If anyone in your party cannot eat raw fish, please let us know when booking, and we can partially substitute with cooked menu items.
While the atmosphere differs between the two locations, our high operational standards remain the same.
Using the best ingredients, serving food in the proper order, and making every guest feel comfortable are the core principles of Goldtuna.
