Jamsil Tourist Must-Visit: The Famous Somaek Auntie’s Restaurant
We recently welcomed special guests all the way from Shandong, China, to our tuna restaurant in Seoul.
Interestingly, the name they knew even before our premium tuna was "Somaek-imo" (our famous Somaek cocktail expert).
They visited us specifically to meet her in person after seeing her viral videos online.

Recently, the reaction to Somaek-imo's videos has been growing rapidly again in China.
In fact, the very first time she reached 200 million views, it was sparked by videos shared in Chinese-speaking regions.
Back then, we didn't even realize it until later and were quite surprised by the global reach.
Our recent guests also found us through those videos.
The moment they walked through the door, their expressions were priceless—it was as if they were meeting a celebrity from a screen in real life.
When that happens, we greet them with extra warmth.

Even though it’s their first time at our Korean tuna restaurant, the atmosphere immediately becomes friendly, as if we’ve met many times through the videos.
